If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:6

How do we turn to God for wisdom and counsel when big decisions need to be made? Discernment opens us up to listen to and recognize the voice and patterns of God's direction in our lives, not just in times of decision.
