My heart beats for teaching. I love to help people engage in the discovery of learning, especially God’s Word and way (although I’m not above an impromptu discourse on a Shakespearean sonnet or a Jane Austen novel). After serving as a volunteer at the Creek for over 20 years, it's an honor to now work alongside a staff that operates with diligence, integrity, faithfulness, love, and humor.
I’ve also reached an age where I’ve embraced my eclectic interests. So when I’m not at work, I might be hosting a clogging class in my garage, puttering in my garden or with my 30+ house plants, reading (I usually have multiple books scattered around the house so that I can read in every room) or trying to re-teach myself the piano. (Mom was right. I should have practiced.)
But most of all I love spending time hiking, traveling, playing games, or riding roller coasters with my husband, Shan, our sons, Will and Jack, and Jack’s wife, Anabel.
