Beholding the Book of Revelation

Join Teaching Pastor, Emerson Kennedy, in a 10-week course exploring the style, structure, situation in history, major themes, text, and relevance of Revelation. The course will be a combination of personal study, teaching, group discussion, and prayer, so individuals should come prepared to do about 1-2 hours of work outside of class time on top of the 2hr class session.

Upon completing this class one will be able to:

• Exhibit proficiency in articulating Revelation’s style and structure and situation in history
• Construct a simple answer as to what Revelation’s main themes are
• Describe Revelation’s contributions to Theology Proper, Christology, Soteriology, Eschatology, Ecclesiology, etc.
• Communicate Revelation’s relevance for Christians today both personally and ecclesially
• Recite five key passages from Revelation by memory
