Serve in the schools
There are nearly 600 students and 100 staff at Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School (TGNS), Franklin Township Learning Center, and at Lifebridge -- most of them are hoping to have someone care for them this year. Below are a few different ways you can serve in the local schools no matter what your schedule and availability might look like.
Serve during the school day
- One-on-One Mentor - A Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School mentor is asked to spend time getting to know their student through activities, games, and working on lessons. A mentor is a person that wants to spend time with a student and doesn't ask for anything in return.
- Classroom Champion - A Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School champion helps a teacher during class. These tasks can include helping students with lessons and projects or even making copies. Many of our students and mentors have different backgrounds and different life experiences. We believe these relationships allow us to love each other and love God more than we ever have before.

Serve after school
- Lifebridge Afterschool Program - An afterschool program in Beech Grove that provides recreation and Bible-based lessons in character development to at-risk children in grades K-12. It meets Monday through Thursday during the school year, and each evening is tailored to a specific age group.

We know that some of you want to support local schools but aren't available during the school day. This is a great opportunity to support the teachers and staff of Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School and Franklin Township Learning Center. They work hard to create a safe learning environment for students and their families. Many of the people on this list include teachers, administrators, custodians, nurses, office workers, and lunch team.
